The Princess Locked in the Tower, I Mean the Bathroom

This morning Lauren went to the bathroom, then had quite the suprise when she discovered she couldn't get out. The door was stuck and there was no prying it open. Luckily there is a window and Daddy was able to rescue her through it. Oh, the joys of living in an old home.

cute picture of her prince saving her. i love the everyday things captured on "film".

in abq we rented a home that was 60 years old, we too had a door that got stuck. we put all the kids easter candy in there and marleerae was 2 and went in there closed the door and got into the candy. we couldn't open the door, so jim went to the window to try to get her to open the door {the windows on the house were as old as the house and didn't come off}. as he was telling her to open the door she was stuffing her face with all the candy she could. jim was telling her "don't eat any more candy", "no more"...as he is telling her this, she is looking at him shoving chocolate in her mouth. about 20 mins. later he got the door open. those darn old doors!!

Lauren told me about it in an email and I laughed about it so hard. Remember when we lived in Fawnskin and we had that sliding bathroom door upstairs that would come off the track? I think we all got stuck in there at one time or another.
