Dare to Dream

I've mentioned before that I am a dreamer. I spend a lot of time in "La-La Land" dreaming about places I want to go, things I want to learn, and experiences I want to have. I dream about people I want to meet, attributes I'd like to possess and even a little about things I'd like to own. To those who have their feet planted firmly on the ground instead of having their heads floating in the clouds, all this dreaming may seem like a waste of time. I guess it probably would be if I never planned to make these dreams become reality, but I hope to do just that. For years Aaron and I dreamed of moving our family to a small rural town out of state. When the time was right we took that leap of faith. Our time spent in Small Town USA was quite literally a dream come true and the experiences we had there, have been priceless. As a result of achieving this dream, our lives have been changed in so many ways. Ways that will continue to affect us forever. Our small town adventure is over now but I know that is partly because it's time to reach toward new dreams. When I was a child my Mom told me that I could do anything I wanted to in life. I want so much to believe she was right. We can all be, do or have what we want, it just takes some faith to reach out and grab it.

I found you! I'll update your link on my blog. I like to dream too, Steve usually pulls me back to earth. I tried to convince him last night we should move to Seattle, or at least the Seattle area. He reminded me the many reasons why we can't, oh well, at least one of us is reasonable.

I found you too! This is Carl Hickman back in the old Hesperia days. It's weird, but thanks to a post from Leah on my blog, I've found blogs from lots of people I totally lost contact with. It feels good to reconnect.
